If you have a reservation, the following items should match the name on your reservation: a government issued picture ID (required to check in.) You must be 18+. Provide a credit card as a form of payment. We are cashless.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be requested for a fee and are based on availability.

Upon checking in, a preauthorization of $200 will be placed on temporary hold with a valid credit card. This hold is released after inspection of the room on the day of your departure.

For fully flexible reservations: to avoid penalties, reservations made directly through the hotel must be cancelled by 4:00 PM local time at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Failure to do so will result in charges equivalent to the cost of the first night’s stay.

For pre-paid nonrefundable reservations: these reservations are non-refundable, non-modifiable and no credits will be issued. If booked through a third party, please contact the booking agent directly for cancellation policies.

We maintain a strict smoke-free environment on our hotel premises to ensure the comfort and well-being of all guests. Smoking of any kind, including but not limited to nicotine, tobacco-derived products, and cannabis-derived products (including vaping and e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited.

Should any guest be found smoking on the hotel premises, the following actions will be taken:

  • The guest will forfeit their $200 security deposit
  • Additional cleaning fees may be charged
  • The guest will be asked to leave immediately, with no refunds provided for room charges

Late night concierge services may be available during select nights. A remote concierge will always be available for any requests or late check-ins. You can always contact the hotel’s direct line via phone or text at 215-789-5885.

Yes, our fitness center comes with high-tech equipment and is open 24 hours a day with complimentary bottles of water.

We prioritize sustainability at our hotel, therefore, our housekeeping services are not provided daily. A full stay-over cleaning will be conducted after the 3rd night of your stay; however, guests can request trash pick-up and fresh towels at any point during their stay.

Yes, we are kid-friendly! Keep the whole family entertained with coloring books and board games in our lobby. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy our breakfast served on the weekends and grab a kid’s menu for the little ones! At the end of the day, rest easy knowing your child will have a safe and cozy place to sleep. Just let us know and we’ll have a pack and play ready in your room!

The Maj Café is open 24 hours, offering a variety of items including soft drinks, snacks, and personal care essentials.

Breakfast service is from Wednesday to Sunday between 7 AM–1 PM. Complimentary coffee daily for our guests from 6 AM -11 AM.

While The Maj Hotel does not offer parking on-site, there is a convenient parking lot PCM, located at 2100 Spring Garden Street, just 0.1 mile away on the corner of 21st and Spring Garden. This self-service parking lot is available for $8 per 24 hours. Payments can be made using the LAZ app or by texting PA1104 to 53242.

Alternatively, street parking is available around the hotel. We advise guests to carefully read street signs and adhere to parking regulations, as some areas may have time restrictions or limited parking durations. Parking on Sundays is free of charge.

For indoor multi-level parking, there is a facility located a bit further away at 17th and Callowhill, marked as “public parking.”

Unfortunately, we do not offer airport shuttle service.

Pets

We gladly accommodate pets at our property!

Guests can bring their furry companions upon request, with a pet occupancy fee of $50 for stays of up to 2 nights. For longer stays, an additional fee of $50 applies for every subsequent 2 nights.

A $300 security deposit will be placed on a temporary hold with a valid credit card at check-in to cover any incidentals that may be incurred during your stay. This amount will be released after inspection of the room on the day of your departure.

Pets must not exceed 35 lbs in weight (medium size). Given the dimensions of our rooms, guests with pets cannot be accommodated in any of our Single Queen rooms. They must book a room in the Single King category or higher to ensure adequate space for their furry companions.

We allow a maximum of two pets per room, provided they are house-trained. Guests with pets will be assigned specific rooms designated for pet accommodation, subject to availability. Prices for pet accommodations may vary. Any undisclosed pets brought onto the premises will result in the forfeiture of the $200 security deposit.
